Your Bargaining Committee will be responsible for gathering input from your group, working with Guild staff to draft proposals, and updating you on progress. As you consider who to nominate, think about coworkers you look up to and have confidence in. Your union will ensure committee members maintain their normal level of pay while participating, but there will also be a need for volunteer time. Negotiating your first contract is a commitment, so keep this in mind as you make nominations.
There will be five (5) Bargaining Committee members. If you are a front end pharmacist, you may nominate up to two (2) front end pharmacists. . If you are a back end pharmacist, you may nominate up to two (2) back end pharmacists. If you are a front end pharmacy technician, you may nominate up to two (2)  front end technicians. If you are a back end pharmacy technician, you may nominate up to two (2) back end technicians. If you are an operations assistant, you may nominate up to two (2) operations assistants.

Your union will follow up with all nominees to assess their interest in serving. Nominees will have an opportunity to accept or decline the nomination. If there are more nominees than available committee seats, an internal election to determine representation for your group may become necessary.
